Dr. Matt Brooks grew up in Kansas and graduated from Kansas State University with a degree in biology. Following graduation, he attended Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee where he received his Doctor of Optometry degree. Dr. Brooks is certified to treat and manage ocular disease including glaucoma and diabetes. He also has extensive experience in LASIK and cataract co-management.
Dr. Matt enjoys church activities, spending time outdoors, road biking, mountain biking, and spending time with his wife, Dr. Jennifer, and their two kids.
Dr. Jennifer Brooks grew up in Kingfisher, Oklahoma. She attended Oklahoma State University and graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish. She completed her Doctorate of Optometry degree from Northeastern State University Oklahoma College of Optometry where she graduated magna cum laude. There she received the “Clinical Excellence Award,” the outstanding research project award, and the Southwest Council Contact Lens award. Dr. Brooks is certified to treat and manage ocular disease including glaucoma and diabetes and is a published author in an optometric journal.
Dr. Jennifer enjoys church involvement, running, spending time with Dr. Matt, and chasing after their son and daughter.
Dr. Joann Thomas grew up in Sugar Land, Texas; home to the Imperial Sugar factory. She attended Houston Baptist University and graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology as well as a minor in Business. She attended the University of Houston College of Optometry where she earned her Doctorate in Optometry. Dr. Thomas has special interest in dry eye treatment, myopia control, contact lenses, and primary care.
Dr. Thomas enjoys spending time with her husband and their families, going to church, traveling, and trying new food!
